Top 5 News and Magazines Apps on Android in Colombia Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 News and Magazines applications on the Android platform in Colombia showcased a variety of trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Territoriales Colombia 2023 from Registraduría Nacional del Estado Civil RNEC had a strong start with 213K downloads in the week of October 30. However, this initial surge was followed by a significant drop, stabilizing at around 100 downloads per week by mid-December.

Twitter Lite experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, peaking at 5.9K in mid-October before settling around 1K per week towards the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decline from 3.7K at the beginning of October to approximately 2.8K by the end of December.

Google News - Daily Headlines showed a notable increase in downloads, particularly in the last week of December where it reached nearly 11.5K. Active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining a range between 850K to 910K throughout the quarter.

Noticias RCN saw a gradual increase in its weekly downloads, starting from 332 in late October and climbing to around 1.8K by the last week of December, indicating growing popularity.

Quora: the knowledge platform had a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.1K in the last week of December. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 6.5K at the start of the quarter to 7.6K by mid-December.
